Using the Internet to Conduct Research:

  1. Since students will use the Internet to gather data, they will be able to review a great deal of information within limited time. Therefore, they can save time and money on information gathering.
  2. Various kinds of materials on different web sites made students have wide and in-depth knowledges of clinical psychology.
  3. Different approaches and perspectives from different authors of web sites will motivate students to form their own viewpoints.
  4. The process of Internet search is very similar to the process of independent research. Students will be trained into disciplined researchers by frequently using the Internet.
  5. "Clinical Psychology" is a field worthy of studying by the general public.Furthermore, more and more relevant information on web sites indeed informs clinical psychology itself. Probably in the near future the general public can just go to a web site to accept psychotherapy. Therefore, our students will learn new technology in psychotherapy after they complete this project by incorporating the Internet.
